Fire safety regulations training course
Safety and Access has developed a one day course to help employees at all levels understand the implications of the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 that comes into effect in October
Impending changes to the fire safety regulations (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) mean that businesses will no longer be able to request assistance from local Fire Service fire prevention officers in order to get fire safety certificates Business owners will be required to assume full responsibility for fire safety in the workplace

Safety and Access, the Nottingham-based access industry consultancy and training organisation, is organising a series of seminars across England to introduce the new Work at Height Regulations.
Safety and Access, a health and safety training organisation and consultancy, provide a range of services to help companies through the changes, which come into force on October 1st 2006.
Safety and Access can provide fire risk consultancy to companies to provide them with the information they need to comply with the new regulations.
In addition, a one-day course has been developed to give employees at all levels an understanding of current fire safety legislation, an appreciation of fire classification, their actions in case of fire, the duties of a fire marshall and how to conduct effective fire drills.
Training will include a practical session in the correct choice and use of fire extinguishers.
The course has been designed by Darren Allport MIIRSM MIOSH MRSH PgDipOSH DipSM, previously an HSE Inspector and with substantial firefighting and safety experience in the RAF and Ministry of Defence.
Courses are available nationwide.
