At this year's Vision show in Stuttgart, Sony Europe's Image Sensing Solutions Division will present visitors with a number of new Sony vision products.

The key highlight is the introduction of the XCI-V3, a VGA resolution smart camera.

The XCI-V3 will complement Sony's Smart Camera lineup at the lower end, offering Windows XPe and Linux compatibility just like its bigger brothers.

In addition, Sony plans to preview two new products which will extend the company's analogue XC-HR and CameraLink compatible camera families.

These are an analogue progressive scan camera with SXGA resolution and a Black and White camera with 5Mpixel resolution, respectively.

At Vision 2006 Sony will also give a status update regarding the Sony Vision Network which has been growing not only through the addition of software developers, both from the industrial and nonindustrial area.

Sony's Image Sensing Solutions products will be represented on a number of Sony Vision Network members stands at the show, including those of Jencam and MaxxVision.
