Socomec Sicon UPS has just launched Net Vision, a cost effective UPS communication and management interface that enables users to configure, monitor and manage any UPS effortlessly through a standard Internet browser.

With full SNMP capability and remote access by http and java applet, Net Vision is available in slot in format for smaller units and as an external adaptor for larger ones.

The new system makes interrogation from a remote location simple and easy, allowing users to perform a number of monitoring and management tasks directly from their desktop with a single adaptor monitoring and shutting down up to 20 file servers.

Net Vision is simple to install, the adaptor simply connects to the back of the UPS via a jbus connector.

The network cable with TCIP protocol plugs directly into the adaptor which then becomes part of the network.

Net Vision provides non-professional users with the opportunity to easily manage and monitor systems from the Socomec Sicon UPS range from 800VA up to 800kVA and give the UPS true network integration.
