For 28 years, Eastec has been the premier manufacturing event in the Northeast, bringing the latest manufacturing equipment and services to buyers.
Northeast decision makers from the aerospace, defence, medical, consumer products and other industries can visit one location with all the equipment and metalworking technologies needed to compete both domestically and globally on display.
Last year Eastec exhibits were re-organised in technology clusters by building.
The Eastec 2007 exhibit layout is further refined to make it easier for attendees find the exhibitors, products and services they want to see.
All buildings are clearly marked and include exhibitor and technology listings.
The event also offers a technology-focused automation, lean and quality resource centre and programs each day focused on innovation, medical device manufacturing and environmental / energy.
These afford the opportunity for both attendees and exhibitors to connect with key contacts in specific industries.
Five focused exhibit areas have been created to make the show more convenient: .
Precision Manufacturing Equipment and Systems (Buildings 1 and 2) .
Tooling, Workholding and Machine Accessories (Building 5) .
Automation, Lean and Quality (Buildings 3 and 4) .
Design, Engineering and Rapid Technologies (Building 5) .
Plant, Energy and Environmental Efficiency (Buildings 3 and 4).
