Elevator systems leader Wittur Turkey has standardised on SolidWorks software, enabling the company to shorten its design-to-manufacturing process by more than 40%.

Wittur Turkey identified time and cost savings in several development phases, including planning, design, bills of material management, order confirmation, and production.

Switching to SolidWorks 3D CAD software has given Wittur Turkey the ability to work more intuitively and creatively, resulting in better products moving more quickly to market.

The company relies heavily on SolidWorks software's unique ability to automate the 3D design of metal sheets and plates that need to be precisely bent, cut, drilled, lasered, punched, and welded.

Wittur Turkey evaluated all of the major 3D CAD offerings and chose SolidWorks for its ease of use, intuitive interface, and breadth of integrated capabilities.

CosmosWorks software helps Wittur Turkey's design engineers ensure the safety of the elevators, enabling iterative testing directly from the SolidWorks interface.

CosmosWorks also minimises overdesign, significantly reducing costs throughout all design and production phases.

Wittur Turkey is using the eDrawings e-mail-based collaboration tool to shorten approval and confirmation processes with customers.
