University students can now complete research and development projects requiring displacement measurement at lower cost and in less time when they participate in the Spaceage Control Educational Transducer Programme.

The Educational Transducer Programme lets students borrow one position transducer (displacement sensor) for up to 6 months.

If additional quantities are required, up to three additional transducers can be ordered at a 50% discount from list price.

Students are required to provide a copy of a thesis, term paper, research report, or other documentation describing the project and its conclusions.

Recent projects include Formula SAE (Ohio State), Rose Parade Float animation (Cal Poly), solar vehicle development (UC Davis), robotic motion and control (MIT, Michigan State University), and autonomous aircraft flight control (UCLA, Stanford University.

Applications for the programme are available on the Spaceage Control website.
