The publication details what is missing in most sensor cost evaluations and then lays out what is missing in many analyses including: installation - cabling, connectors and signal conditioning; reliability - scheduled down time, repairs and calibration; usability; lead time; on-time performance; environmental rating; shipping; stocking requirements; warranty; training; documentation; customer service and technical support.
