Spelsberg's price promise of maintaining 1998 prices covers the complete range of polycarbonate, polystyrene and aluminium electrical enclosures and will be of particular interest to high volume purchasers such as wholesalers and OEM manufacturers.

Popular small enclosures such as the budget HP and Red Range from Spelsberg are now extremely price competitive as compared to similar products from other manufacturers that have undergone recent price increases of up to 400%.

The innovative design of the Red Range enclosures means that they are able to meet the widest possible range of demands from electrical installers, not only in terms of entry combinations but also as regards colours and sealing.

The range includes units from the IP 54 Mini 25 junction box (89 x 43 x 37mm), to the top of the range i16 with its 16 self-sealing entries and the ability to seal oval cables, such as data lines, as well as conduit.

To ensure the best possible seal in the flexible knockouts provided for cable entry, a punch is included with every pack of Red Range enclosures.

In addition, both the seven and the twelve entry boxes can be supplied with 2.5 mm2 5 pole terminal blocks.

Every box in the range is available in electric grey, white, red or brown to complement almost any colour scheme.

The Red Range has been developed with safety in electrical installations uppermost in mind and the enclosures have passed both the UL 94 V2 flammability and 960oC glow wire tests, and all carry the VDE test symbol.

Halogen free models are available in types Sd7 and i12, complementing Spelsberg's existing Halogen free ranges.

HP enclosures are available in four sizes and are designed for fast effective wiring.

They are supplied with pre-mounted, castellated exterior entry seals that can be cut across to achieve several entry sizes and are heat resistant up to 1000C.

The Red Range and the HP Range are part of the most comprehensive range of plastic enclosures in the UK.
