Partnership to promote weatherproof enclosures

To bring a new range of innovative and highly cost effective junction boxes to a wider market, Spelsberg has joined forces with specialist UK electrical distributor and wholesaler supplier Loblite.

UK success story Spelsberg els UK based in Telford has grown in the space of six years to become one of the UK's main suppliers of innovative electrical junction boxes and enclosures to the OEM and contract systems building sectors.

In order to continue the company's growth and bring a new range of innovative and highly cost effective junction boxes to a wider market, Spelsberg has joined forces with specialist UK electrical distributor and wholesaler supplier Loblite.

Loblite currently holds 60% of the UK market for weatherproof switches and sockets and these enclosures enable us to offer a far more convenient and safe solution to customers who wish to cable weatherproof equipment by providing a product designed specifically for the task.

Bulk purchasers will also benefit, as they are under pressure to source more products from each supplier in order to continually cut administration costs and logistics complexity in order to remain competitive".

The new weatherproof Loblite A-Box range is being manufactured by Spelsberg exclusively for Loblite.

The enclosures include a number of innovate features such as fast self-sealing push-fit cable entries that do not require additional cable glands when using most standard cables.

Mechanical lid sealing is also extremely strong, offering ingress protection up to IP65 alongside UV and impact protection.

Easy internal mounting is provided for terminal blocks, PCBs and any DIN rail mounted components.

They are easy to fit and extremely economical compared to other designs on the market.

Loblite is also distributing the "Quick box" range of innovative indoor wiring junction boxes.

Claimed to be the world's fastest fitting electrical junction box for lighting and other light duty wiring applications.

They feature patented click-top lids and push-lock cable entries that allow users to push a cable end through a moulded split in the enclosure sidewall, pushing out the knockout and securely gripping the outer casing without the need for tools or fasteners.

By reducing the number of operations required to secure the boxes, systems can be wired in the fraction of the time previously taken, saving both labour time and costs.
