Mobile system simplifies filling rail
tankers

Spiroflow has developed a rail tanker filling system comprising a mobile bulk bag discharger with an integral aero-mechanical conveyor that can be quickly and easily positioned and eliminates the need to build elaborate frames or gantries as well as the high cost of silo installation Adjustable conveying angle allows different size tankers to be serviced without any loss in the high rate of filling speed offered, since the aero-mechanical conveyor's throughput of up to 130t/h is unaffected by angle, including vertical

The whole system is 'wheeled' into place beside the tanker and the bulk bags are lifted into place as needed by forklift.

The system is dust-tight and can be used for sugar, flour and cement or any powder, granule or pellet transported by rail.

A variety of bulk bag dischargers is offered to handle a variety of poor-flowing products.

Aero-mechanical conveyors comprise a rope loop travelling through a tube with spaced discs secured to it, creating a moving air current and virtually eliminating material degradation, with no cyclone or filter needed to separate the product from the air. Request a free brochure from Spiroflow ...
