A Sensor Developments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 18, 2004

Wireless wheel torque sensors can now be used to correlate vehicle particulate emissions to a given engine output.

Wireless wheel torque sensors can now be used to correlate vehicle particulate emissions to a given engine output.

Used either with standoff adapter plates or a custom designed wheel rim, Sensor Developments' wheel torque sensor will accurately measure torque at the road interface.

These data, combined with the data from exhaust measuring equipment, will provide an accurate picture of the vehicle's emissions profile.

The wheel torque sensor system features wireless signal transmission of torque, speed, and temperature.

No antirotation brackets are required.
