Sprint Electric has named Transdrive, one of the UK's leading independent specialist distributors of Sprint Electric variable speed drives, as its 'Distributor of the Year'.
Sprint Electric the leading manufacturer of DC Drives, has named Transdrive based in Oldham, as its 'Distributor of the Year'.
In a closely fought contest, Transdrive was consistently able to demonstrate its commitment to the high performance range of Sprint Electric Drives, to capture the prestigious award.
Paul Wren, Sales Director Transdrive said, "We are absolutely delighted to have won this award.
We have worked hard this year to support the excellent Sprint product and this has been reflected in our sales success.
This is very much a team effort and the sales and technical resources at Sprint have provided us with a high level of support.
There are further opportunities available to us for growth and we intend to retain our status as 'Distributor of the Year' for as long as we can".
Sprint Electric introduced the award to encourage its distributors to monitor customer service and develop sales.
Performance is reviewed quarterly and a number of factors are taken into consideration.
These include maintaining an appropriate level of product stocks, quality of technical support, monitoring the success of marketing initiatives and targeting sales growth.
Gary Keen, Marketing Manager at Sprint says, "This is the third year we have run the competition and we are very pleased with the benefits it provides to our customers.
