To make its products more easily available to systems integrators wherever they are in the UK, Sprint Electric has appointed Routeco as a UK distributor of its complete range of DC drives.
To make its products more easily available to systems integrators wherever they are in the UK, Sprint Electric has appointed Routeco as a UK distributor of its complete range of DC drives.
The new agreement complements Sprint's existing network of four systems houses that offer a complete design, engineering and support service, direct to end users.
Routeco is the UK's leading specialist distributor of industrial controls and automation products.
With 19 branches strategically located throughout the UK, it is able to provide the ideal, one-stop, local supply solution.
Routeco offers a high level of customer service and technical support, backed up by comprehensive stockholding of products from many of the industry's leading manufacturers.
Sprint's products are the only DC drives held in stock by Routeco.
"Routeco has been extremely successful in promoting and selling AC drives through our team of drive specialists, although until now we have not been able to provide a range of DC drive products," said Tony Usher, Marketing Director at Routeco.

The recently launched PLX/PL range of three phase digital drives is designed to be the most compact, powerful and user friendly DC drive on the market.
