The Compact Clean steam generator range is designed for hospital sterilisation and smaller industrial applications.

The Compact Clean steam generator range is designed for hospital sterilisation and smaller industrial applications.

Using plant steam to heat treat feedwater, the generators can produce up to 580kg/h of clean steam.

Applications include clean-room humidification, direct injection and cleaning in place in the food and drinks and pharmaceuticals industries.

The generator is supplied as a complete skid-mounted package, incorporating all water level, primary steam, clean steam and blowdown controls, ready for installation.

The generators are also fitted with pre-heat tanks to raise the feedwater to 85C before it enters the boiler.

This removes soluble gases in the feedwater, improving the generator's output quality and eliminates the need to heat cold feedwater in the boiler.

This avoids the thermal stresses that can damage systems without pre-heating when cold feedwater hits the boiler, which typically runs at 140C.

For safety and security, all units have lockable doors and panels and each generator is fitted with a safety valve for overpressure protection.
