Spirax Sarco is offering training on the Boiler Operative Accreditation Scheme (BOAS), on 7-10 September, teaching safety and energy efficiency in the boiler house.

The course is nationally accredited and is a must for all industrial boiler operators and boiler plant managers.

The 2009 training programme holds 63 courses, covering 13 different topics and covers all aspects of the design, operation and maintenance of steam systems.

From an introduction to steam and condensate systems to the design of clean steam systems, every need is catered for.

The Cheltenham-based training centre has three fully equipped and air-conditioned lecture rooms, and a practical demonstration area, with its own steam boiler plant and steam system.
