Specialized Geared Motors is a new company founded to provide quality AC shaded pole motors and gear motors to original equipment manufacturers and replacement applications.

Owner Paul Dymond sees the need to supply quality products to the customer technical requirements in a short a time as necessary.

Specialized Geared Motors is able to offer a swift delivery thanks to the large amount of stock that is held at any one time, and there is no minimum order quantity.

There are two main parts to the business: supplying geared motors for new OEM applications and replacement designs to end users.

The OEM business is increasingly where manufacturers want a low cost AC geared motor solution in a compact space.

The AC shaded pole motor provides the OEM with: compactness; low cost; simplicity of technology for reliability; quietness of operation; and a wide range of output speeds available (3 to 200rev/min).

Typical of the applications supplied by Specialized Geared Motors are: catering equipment, laboratory equipment, models and animations, animatronics, stage lighting, pumps and vending machine applications.

The replacement market is large because these types of motors and geared motors have been manufactured for many years and have been used in varying applications in many different industries.

Specialized Geared Motors reckons it can supply quality products on short delivery times and also to specific technical customer requirements where necessary.
