Camera systems stream video
Southern Vision Systems' StreamView and StreamView-LR high speed camera systems can stream high-resolution video for hours on end to a host computer, allowing them to be used for surveillance.
GigaView is a networked high-speed camera designed for troubleshooting of production lines.
With its burst and continuous modes, GigaView is a dual-use system that reduces the time required to realise return on investment.
Troubleshooting mode records 1280x1024 images at 530 frames per second to onboard memory for up to 30 seconds, providing the high image resolution and slow-motion analysis required to quickly solve production line problems.
Continuous mode records 640x480 images at 250 frames per second for up to eight hours to record momentary disruptions, external interference, or equipment failures over long periods of time.
GigaView can actually perform both tasks at once by bursting to onboard memory while in streaming mode.
For trouble-shooting applications, GigaView sets the industry standard with features such as image-cued triggering, memory sector recording, 10-bit greyscale, and auto-exposure.
For monitoring applications, all of these features are still available when storing to onboard memory in addition to real-time streaming of digital video over the gigabit Ethernet interface.
This dual use capability means GigaView will never sit on the shelf for lack of application.
Software included with each GigaView system allows for quick set up, recording, and play back of burst and continuous video.
GigaView was designed and built to minimise downtime and optimise return on investment.
