Sherborne unveils A320 range of accelerometers

A Sherborne Sensors product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 23, 2008

Sherborne Sensors has launched its A320 range of robust accelerometers for use in accurate measurement of low-g acceleration.

The fully self-contained linear acceleration sensors can measure from an ultra-low +/-0.1g up to +/-2g.

The sensors connect to a DC power source and a readout or control device for a complete operating system.

Closed loop, servo balance technology confers these sensors with high precision for measurements in low-g applications.

The A320 series of accelerometers can withstand shocks of 1,500g and vibrations of 35g rms and can operate in temperatures ranging from -18C to +70C.

The sensors are suited to geo-physical and civil engineering studies and the predicative monitoring of large structures.

They are also suitable for a range of applications in sectors such as transport, industrial, military and aerospace.
