Sherborne Sensors' SS2 ultra low range force transducer uses Silicon Sensing Technology (SST) to reliably measure low forces in the +/-30g range.
Silicon Sensing Technology confers excellent sensitivity but eliminates fragility and minimises temperature errors.
The SS2 force transducer has been engineered specifically for the precision measurement of extremely low forces.
The SS2 features excellent immunity to the effects of eccentric loading, side loading and bending moments.
Forces can be applied in tension or compression.
Alternative loading adaptors are available.
The low deflection and consequent high frequency response make the SS2 suitable for measuring peak and transient forces.
The sensor is suitable for demanding applications in sectors such as medical, research and development, aerospace, defence and industrial.
