The list is separated into 42 indexed sections and has been designed as a handy guide to over 5000 standard fasteners from the Serco Ryan range.
Also included in the guide are conversion charts and a photographic guide for each product line.
The latest guide form Serco Ryan, one of the UK's largest bulk fastener suppliers, offers 86 pages of different designs and specifications.
It is compiled to be of greatest use to customers who need to quickly order small batches of prepacked fasteners.
For higher volume OEM manufacturing operations and assembly lines, requiring a new bulk source of fasteners or looking to reduce costs through consolidating their supplier base, it provides an excellent handy reference guide.
However, the guide can be equally useful to designers for specifying fasteners at the first stages of the product life cycle, which can later be automatically supplied straight to the assembly line by Serco Ryan.
The 42 different sections include standard, high tensile and stainless hex bolts, brass, nylon insert and stainless nuts, spring and shake proof washers and a broad range of screws, from engineering socket cap heads to countersunk wood screws.
Additional fasteners included in the guide also cover general assembly and fixing applications, which vary from socket set screws to socket shoulder screws and cotter pins to dowel and spring pins.
Each of the 5000 standard fasteners has details of dimensions, material, price, pack quantity, and colour pictures are supplied of each fastener type for quick visual reference.
Measuring 11cm in width, the guide easily fits in a pocket and offers a notes section and conversion tables in the back.
Serco Ryan's stock exceeds 80,000 separate product lines, all of which are accessible through a nationwide network of over 40 branches.
In addition to JIT/DLF and Kanban supply management services, Serco Ryan also provides impartial technical advice, including engineered fastening solutions and manufacturing cost reduction studies.
