The SharpEye 20/20-I (IR3) is a triple-spectrum flame detector that features flexibility, field programmability, and many output options, such as three relays, 420mA output and an RS485 interface, making it the most diverse flame detector available.

The 20/20I IR3 flame detector has been designed with special emphasis on immunity to false alarms and has applications in a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities.

The patented triple IR (IR3) is extremely sensitive and can detect a 1ft2 gasoline pan fire at 60m - several times the distance of a UV/IR detector.

The 20/20I detector is available either European ATEX approved or with FM or CSA approvals for North America.

The detector uses Mil-spec electronic components and materials, and is built for tough environments and hazardous conditions.

Mean time between failures is 100kh (11+years) and the entire unit carries a 3-year warranty.

The new low-power, intrinsically safe version, SharpEye 20/20MI, is especially designed for industrial and commercial applications.

Less than half the size of the regular explosion/flame-proof IR3 detector, weighing only 0.5kg and drawing 80% less current, this flame detector is every inch as reliable and false-alarm proof as the original IR3.

The Model 20/20MI has most of the features of a regular hazardous-location IR3 detector, packaged neatly into a small, convenient size for easy installation in tight areas.
