Simrit's Plug and Seal connectors are novel way of connecting and sealing fluid and gas circuits between housings, aggregates and pipe ends.

Simrit's Plug and Seal connectors are novel way of connecting and sealing fluid and gas circuits between housings, aggregates and pipe ends The connector is a rubberised section of piping with sealing beads

This means that for the first time, a secure connection and a permanent sealing function can now be achieved with one single component.

The connectors ensure a secure and leakproof connection between pipes, housing parts or aggregates at points of separation in fluid and gas circuits.

Plug and Seal connectors can be used everywhere where pipes with twisted or flared grooves for O-ring seals, sections of hose and hose clamps have been used as transition pieces in the past.

Plug and Seal piping sections are rubberised on the outside and have rubberised sealing beads around the outer circumference at either end.

This means that Plug and Seal is a pipe transition piece, seal and jounce bumper in one.

When the internal pressure rises, the sealing effect between the elastomer and the housing bore increases.

This ensures that the connector reliably seals circuits even under high pressure.

Simrit's Plug and Seal connectors: are easy to assemble - simply "plug them in"; compensate mismatch - larger tolerances are possible; ensure acoustic and mechanical decoupling thanks to the elastomer jounce bumpers; simplify construction by reducing the required number of parts; and save space thanks to their compact construction.

Simrit Plug and Seal piping sections can be made of steel, aluminium or plastic.

Modern elastomers such as FKM, ACM, EPDM, HNBR or VMQ are used for the rubber coating, sealing beads and jounce bumpers.

This means that Plug and Seal connectors can be used in virtually all areas involving the transportation of fluid and gas, including: filling machines for food and drink; plumbing and heating technology; pipeline systems with fittings and flanges; water pumps; agricultural and construction machinery; and oil and coolant circuits in automobiles.
