Sealing reference split into specialised
guides
For decades, the Simrit standard catalogue in printed form has been a trusted companion of developers, engineers and buyers around the globe.
The Simrit standard sealing and vibration catalogue has now been overhauled and revamped to make it more customer friendly The most noticeable change is that instead of one thick catalogue, there will in future be five product-specific catalogues and a technical manual

Seal performs under pressure
Simrit's special PPS premium pressure seal Simmerring was developed for sealing shafts in aggregates that are characterised by high system pressure.
High-pressure seal replaces O-ring and backup
Cover Seal is a one-piece double-acting polyurethane compact seal designed to provide static sealing for rods and pistons in hydraulic or pneumatic systems at operating pressure levels abovve 5MPa.
"Many users only need certain parts of our extensive range".
"This is why we decided to break the standard catalogue up into product-specific volumes".
"This makes life easier for the user".
"It allows them to find what they are looking for quickly and easily", explains Project Manager Evgenia Stiben of Simrit Marketing Europe.
The products will also be displayed according to a uniform system throughout.
To make things easier to read, the catalogues will also be printed in A4 format.
Those who are interested in finding out about Simmerring radial shaft seals only need to order Volume 1.
Volumes 2 to 5 are dedicated to seals for fluid technology, O-rings and static seals, vibration control technology and special sealing products.
The technical manual will also contain a DVD with all product catalogues and all additional services offered by Simrit Online, such as CAD data and calculation programmes.
Design engineers who want to have it all can order all five catalogues in a practical A4 slipcase set.
"By structuring the catalogue in this way, it will be easier for us to update the individual catalogues for each product group, thereby keeping our users up to date at all times", says Stiben.
The number of articles contained in the catalogue has also increased significantly.
In addition to standard products that are available ex-warehouse, the catalogue now contains many customised developments as well.
If tools are available for these products, this is evident at a glance.
This saves tool costs and means that customised solutions can be delivered inexpensively and at short notice.
Naturally, all products and further information are available online in the new electronic Simrit catalogue.
