Simrit has developed a sealing system especially for toggle systems, which is integrated into the bearing shells and reliably seals the joints.

The toggle machine is one of the most reliable and popular of all injection moulding machines It is vital that the bearings used in the toggle systems of such machines, which are subjected to high levels of stress, are adequately lubricated at all times

However, the lubricants used for this purpose tend to leak, thereby heavily soiling the toggle lock system.

This is an unacceptable state of affairs in modern production facilities.

Simrit has developed a sealing system especially for toggle systems.

This sealing system is integrated into the bearing shells and reliably seals the joints.

It comprises two single-piece, double-action polyurethane Pinmatic compact seals.

The two Pinmatic seals are inserted into groves in the bearing shell, thereby preventing the loss of lubricant between hinge pin and toggle bearing.

Thanks to these Pinmatic hinge pin seals, these critical parts of the system now remain clean.

Moreover, the fact that no lubricant is lost means longer maintenance intervals and lower lubricant consumption.

The low-friction Pinmatic hinge pin seal, which is made of polyurethane 95AUV142, has no stick-slip and minimum wear.

Moreover, polyurethane 95AUV142 is renowned for its high extrusion resistance, which ensures that the seal functions reliably and has stable long-term behaviour, even under high loads.

Fluidtechnic's Pinmatic hinge pin seal also guarantees high linear force at the sealing edge in unpressurised states, which means that it also seals reliably and ensures a clean environment when the machine is not in use.

These seals are resistant to hydraulic oils, HFA, HFB, HFC and HFD fluids, water, rape seed oil, ester, glycols and mineral greases.
