Sterling Hydraulics has a pilot-operated poppet-type load control valve available in three versions offering different pilot ratios for diverse applications.

The E2A040 has a pilot ratio of 8:1 and is suitable for motor control.

The E2B040 with a pilot ratio of 3:1, or the E2H040 with a pilot ratio of 1.75:1 are more suitable for use on cylinders.

The higher the pilot ratio, the more efficient the load control system.

However, lower pilot ratio valves tend to offer a more stable operating system so it may be necessary to optimise valve selection to suit these needs.

To enable the E2x040 valve to be directly fitted to a motor or cylinder, the compact design includes a direct acting relief valve for overload protection and a reverse check valve within the body to minimise the installation cost, as well as saving space.

All three variants can be supplied as either adjustable, preset or tamperproof depending on your requirements.

And where ultimate space saving is required, the pre-set version is even more compact.

All external parts are zinc plated for extra protection and all working parts are hardened to ensure maximum durability.
