Regulation comes with relief

A Sterling Hydraulics product story

The C04B3 is a pilot-operated spool-type pressure-regulating valve with a relieving feature.

The C04B3 is a pilot-operated spool-type pressure-regulating valve with a relieving feature.

It has a control pressure/relief capability from 10 to 350bar, and is designed for medium flow use up to 120 litre/min in both regulating and relieving modes of operation.

Pressure-regulating valves are useful in limiting or controlling the pressure in a secondary circuit at a lower level than in the primary circuit, even in the event of a back flow condition in the service line.

These are therefore normally open valves that close off or meter when the setting pressure in the outlet line is achieved.

As with all Sterling Hydraulics pressure regulating valves, the C04B3 has a safety adjuster stop to prevent over-pressurisation and to limit the stress level induced in the control spring.

Suitable to fit industry common cavity 10-3, the C04B3 has hardened working parts for maximum durability as well as zinc plated external parts for extra protection.

It is available in adjustable, preset and tamperproof versions and has two pressure ratings to suit specific applications.
