Sensors Web Portal and Smartec have signed a long-term agreement under which Smartec's products will be sold in the first B2B and B2C sensors e-shop at Sensors Web Portal.
Sensors Web Portal and Smartec have signed a long-term agreement under which Smartec's products will be sold in the first B2B and B2C sensors e-shop at Sensors Web Portal.
The agreement covers all Smartec's product ranges from different sensors (temperature, pressure, humidity, infra-red) and universal transducer interface (UTI) IC up to data acquisition systems and development kits.
"Expanding the e-commerce possibilities is a part of Smartec's strategy to further develop its position as a leading manufacturer of smart sensors products", said Rolf de Boer, Managing Director of Smartec.
"We were the first client at Sensors Web Portal for banners ads when it started its activity in 1999 and we are still using this service after four years.
At the beginning of 2003, Sensors Web Portal opened the first sensor e-shop in the net and Smartec was again among its first clients", added de Boer.
