Structural Research and Analysis Corp has announced that Pohang University of Science and Technology (Postech), one of Korea's top technical institutions, has integrated 35 seats of Cosmos/Works into its competitive engineering program.
The Mechanical Engineering program at Pohang University consists of 12 research fields, including Design and CAD/CAE.
Students enrolled in these courses focus on the development and application of computer based methodology for the analysis and design of machine elements, structures, and manufacturing processes using programs such as SolidWorks and Cosmos/Works.
Students majoring in this field leave the school with a profound knowledge of computer systems and programming languages, as well as strong backgrounds in machine element design, numerical analysis, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and materials science.
