Engineering consultancy moves premises

A Stanton Consulting Engineers product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 3, 2007

Shortly after moving to The Bridge Centre in Birches Head, Stoke-on-Trent, Stanton Consulting Engineers has had to switch to larger premises on the same site to cope with its increased workload.

The continuing growth of a North Staffordshire engineering consultancy has encouraged it to move premises and invest in a complete re-brand.

Shortly after moving to The Bridge Centre in Birches Head, Stoke-on-Trent, Stanton Consulting Engineers has had to switch to larger premises on the same site to cope with its increased workload.

The company believes the increased capacity will enable it to compete for bigger contracts.

The company re-brand, which includes new logo, company stationery and website, is designed to reflect the rapid growth of the firm, established in 2004.

Managing Director Ben Stanton said: "We have taken on some large rolling contracts recently, for example analysing the engineering operations across the Manor Bakeries group".

"And we have taken on other major projects such as an overhaul of the district heating system at the University of Sussex".

"We felt the image of the company did not reflect the level of work we are currently undertaking and projects we are looking to take on in future, which is why we have invested in the re-brand, grown the workforce, and moved to new premises".

"We believe this will enable us to compete for similar contracts, and other work within building services, manufacturing and construction".

Stanton Consulting Engineers offers a wide range of services, such as mechanical engineering design and support on projects, electrical design work for on-site installations - from HV through to lighting and small power - and computer aided design and drafting.

It is currently working on several large construction projects, for instance electrical design on two new boiler houses at RAF Marham in King's Lynn, Norfolk, and on-site verification of all mechanical and electrical services at the new Thomas Deacon Academy in Peterborough.
