SB1 Series inclinometers are designed for use in harsh industrial environments, and mount directly for the measurement of horizontal or vertical angles.

SB1 units use a capacitive liquid based technology, and offer standard ranges from +/-10 to +/-80 degrees, and require a supply voltage between 8 and 30V DC.

Internal conditioning and amplification gives a rationalised 4-20mA output which is linear and proportional to the measured angle.

Nonlinearity is claimed to be within 0.1% of full-scale output, and resolution to within 0.01 degree.

A very tough pressure cast aluminium box with OG cable clamping and top seal gives a solid and compact housing, rated IP65, with simple two-wire current loop output.

The SB1 is a high quality system sensor, with a primary MTBF exceeding 200 years, and it can be used under many types of extreme working conditions and environments.

Applications for these devices are wide and varied.

They include tilt measurement on platforms, cranes, hoists, rail cars, oil rigs or ship movements, machine movement, robotics applications, and road vehicles.
