It's the scales that count
A new range of industrial counting scales suits the needs of a variety of industries where parts counting is essential for inventory control, packaging checks and component handling.
Alarming performance from weighing scales
Adam Equipment has introduced a new range of industrial weighing scales to suit the needs of a wide variety of industries from building supplies to electronics manufacturing.
When an external load cell is connected to the Samson its built-in smart plug recognises the sensor and sets up the calibration and settings.
The user is ready to make measurements immediately.
The display gives simultaneous display of current force value and the maximum peak achieved.
In addition a bargraph display gives an overall look at the level of force to observe any safety needs; these can be seen for every test made.
With just a single key press users can turn the instrument into an analysis machine, giving a graphical response of the input waveform.
Determination of the material breaking point can be displayed, and the graph can show the progression of the breakage characteristics.
The Samson automatically calculates the maximum and minimum values, and these can be selected for viewing, using the backlight facility to improve observation in poor lighting conditions.
Audible alarms can be set for the high and low limits of any measurement.
The tester can control of motorised tension and compression stands for sample testing.
Automatic power-off ensures prolonged battery level, and battery capacity is shown graphically on screen.
Users can expect the device to run for 8 hours on a single charge, and the onboard memory will hold the last 100 calculated values for later viewing.
A dual version is also available with two fully independent inputs and displays.
The second input can be from any standard sensor to measure pressure, displacement, acceleration etc.
The gauge features a basic accuracy of 0.1%, resolution of 0.1%, data capture rate of 1kHz, date indication, and automatic detection of external sensors with auto-safety protection.
