Stanger Science and Environment has won a clutch of contracts from clients including HSBC and Carillion Services.

Stanger's water quality consultancy provides clients' facilities managers with expert technical advice, including surveying, inspection and testing, to protect their employees from water borne disease and to ensure compliance with legislation.

The Stanger Science and Environment Water Quality consultancy has joined the Carillion Services team who are providing property management support services to the Metropolitan Police Service estate which consists of 1,600 properties within the M25, including New Scotland Yard, the Hendon Training Centre and 190 police stations.

Stanger's scope of work includes surveying, inspection and testing of the wet evaporative cooling towers and make-up waters for 6 HQ buildings to ensure compliance with relevant BS, HSE, UK and EU legislation.

Stanger was also recently awarded a contract renewal by HSBC, the leading international financial institution.

Again, the Stanger contract provides for the sampling and monitoring of water quality to ensure compliance with governmental regulation.

As part of an effective risk management programme, HBSC is able to minimise the risk of water borne bacteria causing health and safety problems.
