Digital performance for analogue cost
Dual channel DIN rail temperature transmitter offers from Status Instruments offers digital performance for analogue cost.
Status Instruments is introducing the DIN rail version of its unique and highly successful low cost series of push-button programmable, temperature transmitters The SEM523/P offers enhanced performance at low cost and through the use of skilful electronic design and packaging, the high packing density means that the unit provides two fully independent channels which take all common RTD sensor inputs, converting them to 4-20mA outputs

Analogue temperature transmitters come out on top
Eight different manufacturers' in-head temperature transmitters were trialled alongside existing panel mount devices at Baxter Healthcare, and a Status Instruments analogue device came out on top
The SEM523/P boasts impressive features, including drift-free digital linearisation and full galvanic isolation, which are normally only found in products two or three times the price.
Status have replaced the potentiometers and solder links used for programming traditional low cost transmitters with a simple-to-use internal push button.
As a result, setting-up the SEM523/P takes only a few seconds, without the need for a PC while the built-in LEDs confirm correct set-up for each channel.
The SEM523/P is part of Status Instruments' extensive range of temperature transmitters, digital panel meters and data loggers. Request a free brochure from Status Instruments ...
