Sick Stegmann's guide to encoder solutions provides a technical overview of incremental and absolute encoder technology.
It also details Sick Stegmann's range of incremental encoders, absolute encoders, linear encoders, wire draw systems, Hiperface adapters and accessories.
It includes the DFS60 incremental encoder, which contains a metal code disc for increased temperature tolerances, higher resolutions and improved bearing life when compared with standard 60mm incremental encoders.
Programmable versions accommodate any line count from 1 to 65,536 pulses per revolution.
