High performance alternative for position sensing

A Sensor-Technik UK product story

Sensor-Technik has introduced a high performance alternative to resolvers, angular sensors, potentiometers and other analogue position indicators.

Sensor-Technik has introduced a high performance alternative to resolvers, angular sensors, potentiometers and other analogue position indicators.

Micronor's MS111 is a unique angular sensor that combines Hall-effect principles with a proprietary noncontact design to give an accurate, absolute 360-degree angular position output.

Output options include serial 12bit digital, PWM, analogue voltage (0.5-4.5V) or analogue current (4-20mA), in various combinations.

Accuracy is better than +/-0.35 degrees.

Further, in analogue mode, the voltage against angle slope is programmable, allowing the MS111 sensors to directly replace almost any analogue position indicator.

Highly compact and extremely rugged, the sensors are sealed to IP65 and designed to meet the needs of applications that demand high levels of accuracy and reliability.

Typical uses include sensing the position of valves, levers, gates, cranes, automated doors and a host of other demanding vehicle and outdoor industrial applications.
