SoftPLC Corp has released the Gatecraft line of ruggedised firewalls.

Automation network security is critical to assure real-time data protection and to prevent downtime.

Engineered for industrial automation security applications by a company with 21 years factory automation and industrial networking expertise, the Gatecraft line of products is further enhanced with SoftPLC's security analysis and configuration services.

Gatecraft products are small, cabinet mountable, industrially hardened hardware devices.

These units can safely withstand harsh environments.

The Gatecraft Shield is a ruggedised firewall for Ethernet to Ethernet protection (for example to segment the plant control network from the business network).

The Gatecraft Junction is a ruggedised modem router with integrated firewall for Ethernet to phone protection (for example to protect systems which require remote access by employees or equipment providers).

Finally, the Gatecraft Beacon is a ruggedised wireless access point (WAP) with integrated firewall and power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability.
