Modbus TCP Ethernet connectivity means I/O drivers are available for interface to 100s of vendor devices and bus networks.

SoftPLC Corp has announces Modbus TCP Ethernet connectivity for I/O systems Modbus TCP compatible I/O and other devices such as drives are available from a wide range of vendors, including SoftPLC's Tealware I/O

SoftPLC is open architecture control software which, when combined with an industrial CPU and I/O, creates a powerful industrial controller system.

SoftPLC runs on embedded Linux and provides a set of features such as ladder logic control, including Allen-Bradley program and documentation imports.

There are communications interfaces to virtually all HMIs, drives and industrial networks.

I/O drivers are available for interface to 100s of vendor devices and bus networks.

Embedded PLC and Scada firewall provide secure communications.

Other features include embedded web server, email functions, FTP/SSH servers and open architecture that lets users develop their own instructions, drivers and so on.

Minimal hardware requirements keep system costs low and system reliability high.
