SoftPLC Corp has announced Modbus TCP Ethernet connectivity for its Tealware I/O system A full range of modules, including digital, analogue and specialty modules are available

Tealware I/O is a rack based, high density system which, when combined with an industrial Ethernet enabled CPU, creates a powerful industrial control system.

Tealware on Ethernet supports Modbus TCP and UDP protocols.

Up to 1024 points can be configured in a single drop on a remote I/O adapter.

Multiple adapters can be configured on a network, which can be coax or fibre cabling; the maximum number of drops allowed is based on the controller, not the Tealware I/O system.

Thousands of customers have used Tealware I/O with SoftPLC controllers in difficult application environments.

Now this hardened I/O system is available for other controller platforms as well.
