Wide range of possibilities for media storage
A new range of media storage units designed to accommodate tapes, CDs, floppy discs and microfiche has been introduced by Strongbox, the instrument rack, cabinet and console manufacturer.
The Strongbox StoreRack range provides storage for all types of filing systems and media such as tapes, CD's and floppy disks.
It also provides useful space for manuals, operating notes and other system documentation.
The cabinets are made at the Strongbox 20,000ft2 purpose built factory at Houghton Regis near Dunstable, where a ?1million investment ensures a high quality, high volume manufacturing capability from raw materials to finished product.
The company is ISO 9001 accredited.
Strongbox makes a wide range of top quality racks and consoles for the computer, broadcast and other electronic based industries.
Managing director, Steve Edmunds, explained the rationale behind the new cabinets observing: "In many installations there is an element of unproductive rack space that could be put to good use.
I am sure that these new cabinets will increase the operating efficiency of rack mounted systems by providing engineers with easily accessible storage space.".
