Schmitt Europe has underlined its commitment to emerging international markets by launching its new website in Russian and Turkish, as well as English, German and Italian.

Schmitt Europe has underlined its commitment to emerging international markets by launching its new website in Russian and Turkish, as well as English, German and Italian.

Comprising more than 100 pages, the latest Schmitt website contains sections on principles of balancing, along with comprehensive information on the company's complete range of grinding wheel, machine tool and component balancing solutions; process control systems; gauging equipment and laser measurement products.

In addition, sections giving details of spares availability and worldwide customer support are provided, along with latest press information and customer case studies featuring the company's products in action.

The website also highlights a series of "try before you buy" customer offers and lists exhibitions that Schmitt will be attending during the year.

Simple and intuitive navigation is backed by fast screen loading, to ensure that visitors can locate and display the information they require quickly.

The site has also been designed for fast and simple updating; enabling information on new Schmitt products, applications and latest developments to be posted straight away.

Commenting on the development, Schmitt Europe's Managing Director, Dean White said: "The new website reflects the global reach of our business".

"Rather than just incorporate translations of a few summary pages, we have invested the time and effort to provide all our product information in several key languages".

"With its completely different character set, the Russian version posed particular challenges".

"However, it has already generated a significant amount of traffic, reflecting the major business potential we have identified in this territory".

"Likewise, we are in the process of adding French and Spanish versions of the site during the next few months", adds White.

"Customers can instantly access information on our products from anywhere in the world".

"I am therefore confident that www.schmitteurope.com will continue to develop into one of our most important marketing and customer support tools during the next few years".
