Enclosures now provide an angled display front

A SRS Products product story

SRS Products' Cubic range of desktop, floor standing tower and wall mount enclosures has been extended to provide an angled display front for improved ergonomics

SRS Products' Cubic range of desktop, floor standing tower and wall mount enclosures has been extended to provide an angled display front.

This development enhances the ergonomic features of the Cubic man-machine interface.

Whilst the basic desktop Cubic has a tip-up foot feature built into the static feet of the enclosure, SRS Products has identified a requirement for the structure of the enclosure to be angled, to meet the needs of housing monitors and displays, such that the housing is positioned and fixed in a permanent position.

Applications such as CCTV, where a visual monitoring process is required, make the ergonomic feature essential.

Combining the modularity of the basic Cubic design, SRS Products has introduced a range of desktop enclosures that have this 10-degree angle of display.

Sizes include 7U and 10U heights, 19-inch useable width, and 400mm and 500mm overall depths.

With these dimensions, the enclosure can be used on a stand-alone basis or housed above a standard rectangular Cubic enclosure to provide the required height plus additional enclosure space for the electronics below.
