The latest ultra-high-power ring spotlight in the Spectrum Illumination range is fitted with six high output UV (395 or 365nm) LEDs that are angled at 45 degrees.

The latest ultra-high-power ring spotlight in the Spectrum Illumination range, now available from Special Application Products, is fitted with six high output UV (395 or 365nm) LEDs that are angled at 45 degrees.

Designed specifically to meet the demands of a UK customer working in the medical diagnostic market, the combination of the high output and the angle of illumination results in a small, but extremely intense, area of light that is ideal for detailed inspection in critical applications.

With a beam diameter of 30mm and a focal length of 40mm they can be supplied in colours to suit specific requirements.

They will be ideal for inspecting small objects such as tips of needles and for detailed forensic work.

The Monster Light range from Spectrum Illumination provides the highest flux LED in the world and are revolutionising machine vision lighting achieving a wavelength equivalent to that of fluorescent tube light, something that has not previously been possible.

However it has a more stable output making it more reliable than fluorescent tubes that suffer a drop in light output during the first 100 hours of life.
