Sullair Europe has launched a powerful new portable high-pressure air compressor for the European market.

To respond to the demands of the deep drilling and industrial maintenance sectors (particularly oil and gas pipelines), Sullair Europe has launched a powerful new portable high-pressure air compressor for the European market The Sullair 425XHHA, unveiled at the Intermat international trade fair, has until now only been available in the USA, where it has been successfully used for more than two years

The new European model, which uses Sullair's renowned rotary screw technology, will be the first of the "Combo" range to be launched by Sullair Europe later this year.

It has been designed to fulfil the key requirements of all Sullair's portable compressors: total accessibility and reliability.

With an output of 25.5m3/min at a pressure of 34.5bar, the powerful new 425XHHA means that there will be no need for a "booster" in many circumstances - therefore leading to vastly improved productivity.

The compressor's diesel engine is a 525hp Catepillar C-15ATAAC that runs at 1800rev/min.

The new model also boasts a two-stage air filter with safety element.

Positioned to draw cool outside air, this model is designed to provide maximum protection for the engine and the compressor, thereby lengthening equipment life.

A simple switch/gate on the main panel also enables the user to select a high or low pressure which can be preset between 17.2 and 34.5bar.

This new addition to the range of Sullair portable compressors is in line with the company's strategy to create models that are designed for optimum reliability and accessibility for the construction industry.

This new model, which has been extremely well received in the USA, will be the first of a new "Combo" range to be launched by Sullair later this year.

Sullair believes that there is great demand for portable compressors with adjustable output/flow as there are cost savings to be made.
