KBK has agreed to distribute SoftInWay's Axstream design and optimisation software to the Japanese turbo-machinery industry.

SoftInWay has strengthened its worldwide sales and distribution network by completing an agreement with Kyokuto Boeki Kaisha (KBK) to provide distribution of its Axstream Suite of multi-disciplinary design and optimisation software to the Japanese turbo-machinery industry "KBK has worked closely with major Japanese companies such as IHI, Toshiba and Mitsubishi for over 55 years", said Kazunobu Otake, Senior General Manager of KBK's Aerospace and Defense Systems Department

"They have said time and time again that they must achieve higher levels of efficiency in their designs".

"Axstream will help them greatly in accomplishing this prime objective".

"KBK has a strong record of success in supporting Japanese companies within the power generation, industrial process, auto, aerospace and defence sectors" stated Dr Leonid Moroz, President of SoftInWay.

"In distributing Axstream to the turbo-machinery community in Japan, KBK will truly be fulfilling their mission, supplying the required technology to those who need it".

KBK will also be distributing the axial and radial educational versions of Axstream to the engineering colleges and universities in Japan as tit has a long standing reputation for incorporating state of the art tools into its compressor and turbine design curriculums.

These educational versions allow students to learn design theory while actually creating designs using "real world" industry platforms.
