Contracts cement partnership

One year on from the launch of Sumitomo Cyclo Europe's and Centa Transmissions collaboration, and their partnership is going from strength to strength with the announcement of two major contracts totalling over quarter of a million pounds The initiative which saw Centa Transmissions appointed as UK precision specialist for Sumitomo's Precision gears product range has led to a substantial increase in product awareness and a significant increase in target account orders throughout the regions

The partnership is the second scheme Sumitomo has formally announced with leading company names throughout the UK.
In 1999, Sumitomo launched a similar partnership with industry oil giant Mobil, offering a unique after sales service package, "signature service", exclusively linked with Sumitomo's Paramax 8000 and 9000 range.
The precision partnership with Centa Transmissions has seen the company increase its overall responsibility for the distribution of Sumitomo's Fine Cyclo, Servo 100 and Servo 4000 precision product range throughout the UK.
Centa Transmissions Gear Division Manager, Michael Sykes, is pleased with the partnerships' progress: "We are delighted to have achieved so much in this role.
We have enjoyed a well established business relationship with Sumitomo for some time, and our partnership has contributed to improved market share within this fast growing industry sector, and has enabled us to exceed customers expectations in terms of advice, quality and service".
