Sumitomo Cyclo Europe promises to enter "new frontiers" during this year's Hannover Messe, breaking new ground with the help of an "all action" global domination theme The power transmission specialist aptly titled "new frontiers" campaign will unveil Sumitomo's new range of both innovative and global breakthrough products to industry including the: Neo Hyponic range of right-angle shaft gearmotors; Astero subfractional gearmotors specially engineered for light duty applications; HSM helical shaft-mounted speed reducers; and the Fine Cyclo, Servo 6000 and IB Series range of zero and low backlash speed reducers

Setting the scene on stand, the Fine Cyclo precision range was used in a Kuka KR15 welding robot application, which in turn featured in the latest 007 blockbuster "Die another day".
Replicating a key scene in this film, the robot used in the ice palace prison quarters will feature on stand.
But instead of saving 007 and his sidekick, the "laser" display will appear to thaw the ice embedded "new frontiers" range.

A selection of Sumitomo's gearbox and gearmotors and drives range can be seen in their typical industry sector, in working applications, enabling visitors to see first hand how Sumitomo can solve a varied range of application problems.
Special guests will be invited to savour the heady mix of tradition and technology in the dedicated hospitality area where courtesy of Sumitomo's own brewery, ice cold Asahi beer will be served along with traditional sushi in a relaxed and tranquil Japanese themed area - utilising catering equipment incorporating Sumitomo's gearmotors.
Sumitomo Cyclo Europe's Managing Director Mike McCann is certain that this years message is clear: "Our unique Cyclo principle technology speaks for itself, but we aim to promote our global capabilities this year with truly global products in the form of Neo Hyponic, Astero and IB Series".
"We have focused this year's presentation firmly through the customer's perspective, who can now relate our products to their application and industry sector.
By the range of initiatives we plan to use this year I am sure we will be successful in achieving this".
