A new range of fractional powered geared motors and controllers is ideal for customers who demand performance, efficiency and long service life.

Sumitomo Cyclo Europe has a new range of fractional powered geared motors and controllers it reckons is ideal for customers who demand performance, efficiency and long service life.

Launched under the Astero product range, the gearmotors and controllers are specifically engineered for lighter duty applications.

Remarkably rugged in its construction, the Astero incorporates parallel-shaft involute gearing for maximum efficiency and quiet operation.

Available in four frame sizes from 60 to 90mm square, the Astero product range can be universally mounted for adaptability in a range of applications in space constrained environments.

It has sealed, grease-lubricated construction making it maintenance free, and comes with optional reversible, and induction motors and brake and speed controller options.
