Sumitomo Drive Technologies is hoping to make a splash at the IWEX exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham from 11th to 13th November.
Sumitomo Drive Technologies is hoping to make a splash at the IWEX exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham from 11th to 13th November.
The company will use the exhibition as a showcase for its expanding product portfolio in a specialist range tailor made for the water industry.
Sumitomo Drive Technologies, formally known as Sumitomo Cyclo Europe, will be unveiling its new brand image at IWEX, making them a truly global player in the power transmission industry.
Repeating its success from the last IWEX show in 2001, Sumitomo Drive Technologies will once again be profiling a key product range specific to the water industry.
Among the product portfolio the Drive 6000, newly rated helical and bevel Buddybox will feature as part of key application solutions for a variety of waste treatment machinery including: aerators, macerators, screens, screw pumps, filtration and dewatering, and centrifuge drives.
Offering an efficient and responsive solution to the industry's needs, the Buddybox (helical and bevel) Cyclo and Paramax models will be on show, which have been adapted into applications including clarifiers, mixers, rotating biologicalcontactors, picket fence thickeners and many more.
Benefits these specific products bring include: low noise; energy efficient motors to Eff1 and Eff2; 500% shock overload capacity; standard ratios from 3:1 to 658,000:1; inbuilt torque limiter options; and ease of installation using the company's unique keyless Taper-Grip output shaft bush.
Sumitomo will also be presenting its industry specific brochure, which focuses on the water industry and offers a detailed insight into the Sumitomo product range by featuring actual application solutions in a multitude of environments.
