New consistent sales image for pump manufacturer

The Sundyne Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial pump and compressor products, has undergone a restructuring of its sales team for Europe, Middle East and Africa in order to meet changing demands and to improve global support for its customers, while maintaining a 'local' presence in individual territories.
The new Sundyne Corporate Sales Team will be responsible for marketing the leading brands in the company's portfolio - namely, Sundyne Pumps, Sundyne Compressors, Sunflo Pumps and HMD/Kontro pumps.
The aim of the new organisation is to ensure that the Sundyne representation across the Globe is presented to the customer with a consistent image and offers more focused and simplified service and support.
The streamlined team will take on the multi-product role but within smaller territories, allowing them to improve relationships with key customers, thereby gaining a better understanding of the customers' direction and needs.
Colin Guppy, general sales manager, Sundyne Europe comments "The restructuring of the petro-chemical and chemical markets over the last few years has resulted in the creation of truly global companies with fewer locations, combined spending leveraging and utilisation improvements - all of these factors continue to drive the consolidation of suppliers to a single entity approach to market.
Our new structure strengthens our position to influence users to specify and select Sundyne products on a global basis, ensuring the service and support structure is consistent for all customer locations." Within the new structure a team of product managers has been established to take responsibility for all of the product issues.
This is to ensure that all elements of the product portfolio are communicated through the appropriate manufacturing plant, as well as keeping the field team up-to-date on significant changes and providing specialist sales back up.
The customer services element of customer support has also been added to the product management team, which will ensure accelerated communications and resolution to field issues.
The new structure mirrors that of the Sundyne Corporation in the US and Asia, which also enables improved communication and co-ordination of activities worldwide.
