Supplier of Japanese domestic and industrial hardware moves UK and European operations to new headquarters and distribution centre near Henley-on-Thames.

Sugatsune Kogyo, supplier of Japanese domestic and industrial hardware, has moved its UK and European operations to new headquarters and distribution centre at Stoke Row, near Henley-on-Thames.

The premises house the company's sales, administration, customer helpline, warehousing and product distribution facilities.

"The new facilities are much better suited to our needs," said Sugatsune's UK Director, Mike Rogers.

"They enable us to stock specific products for our existing customers, as well as hold a greater standard product range for over-the-counter type sales and next day delivery to an increasing number of new customers with individual requirements".

"We have also installed a state-of-the-art OGL Neptune stock control system to cope with more than 3000 standard products".

"The appeal of our products ranges from fittings for kitchen and furniture manufacturers, through applications in the food, pharmaceuticals and marine sectors to gaming machines".

"The system provides instant tracking and availability of Sugatsune products and is a further demonstration of our commitment to supply top quality hardware with top quality customer service".

Marketed under the company's Lamp brand, Sugatsune's range includes: soft opening and closing and assisted lift door stays and hinges; numerous conventional hinges, including concealed and detent types; flush and conventional handles; latching systems; mechanical and magnetic catches; fasteners; casters; adjustable feet; drawer slides; locks; brackets; and shelving systems.

In addition, the company has developed modern soft close dampers through its Lapcon technology.

"Thanks to the efforts of all our employees, the company's relocation from the centre of Henley-on-Thames has gone very smoothly," Rogers said.

"I am sure that our new UK headquarters will prove to be an excellent platform for continued growth".
